Hikvision did not bother to mention that the workaround would cease functioning in september with the launch of chrome 45. i hope they are working on a new plugin that can work on older cameras without a firmware update.. Unfortunately, this means that anyone trying to connect to their ip cameras, nvrs or dvrs via the updated chrome web browser will not be able to view their live feeds until hikvision update their firmware with an alternative plugin which they have stated as being ready by the end of october 2015 for their ip cameras and the end of november 2015.
